Before & Afters
World Market was moving out of their old Baton Rouge location and selling off a lot of their displays. I snagged this wood cubby for about $20, stained it and turned it into my son's shoe storage. I ordered the skateboard wall storage unit and stained it the same color. I love how both display function + art!
I designed this dresser for my client's daughter. It was built by Gary's Wood Works.
Simply using matching hangers can make your closet instantly more appealing.
This was one of my very first projects and I still love how it turned out! We turned this "catch all" room back into what my client had intended it to be used for. I was thrilled when she called me a month later and said how wonderful it was when her daughter presented her next sewing request...my client was able to go directly to her new sewing room and tackle the project right away. Being organized is such a time saver!
We cleared out what this family no longer needed (tossed, donated or relocated). Then, we had additional shelving built in next to the existing cabinets to house all of the clean laundry baskets. Two triple sorter laundry hampers were rolled in underneath to keep everything laundry-related within reach of the washer & dryer.
We decluttered and staged this home -- it sold in 5 days!
We relocated the island to make a peninsula, reused the existing cabinets and put a fresh coat of paint everywhere. New flooring tied the kitchen in with the rest of the house.
Most people have expired spices or ones they simply never use. And many are lost and forgotten in the back. Turntables, bins and labels make all the difference!
I chose pegboard to store necklaces and belts in this narrow space.
My clients called when they were ready to remodel their master bathroom. I redesigned the wife's challenging linen closet to create better storage solutions for her toiletries. These are some of my favorite containers!
My client had a small built in off the kitchen perfect for paying bills, checking email, etc. With a little organization, labeling and design touches, she was happy to use this desk space again.
This Louisiana men's home wanted a more welcoming environment throughout the facility.
This was a redesign of an eclectic commercial office space in Baton Rouge! With a limited budget, the staff ripped up the carpeting and painted everything themselves. CTO did the layout, design and installation.
I was honored to design and decorate the set for our church's studio. One entire wall is a green screen for announcements. This corner is used as a backdrop for various recordings.
We were blessed to be a part of the redesign of The Church in Donaldsonville. The large wood panel was something I rescued from their previous location. I love mixing old and new elements.
What a fun, modern and colorful project this was to work on! In 2011, Little Beaux Feet launched in Baton Rouge.
